All sides of this discussion have merit. The common factor is this: you have to work hard with samples, or sequencers or AI or whatever tool is at hand to rise above the default.

So if you use samples without care or effort it's the same as being rather awful at the bassoon. As I would be.

And working with AI needs to be a critical process. Make a thing, critique the thing, understand the faults and try again.

I've never had a gig cancelled due to a tornado. Some gigs, I really wished a tornado would hit the venue (some club owners are supreme jerks), but no such luck.

A slice of 1930s silliness which hopefully won't be taken as pro-hunting propaganda. Recorded by both Jack Payne and His B.B.C. Dance Orchestra and Leslie Sarony in its year of release, it was famously revived in the late 1960s by the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band.

This songsheet is based on the Bonzo's recording from their 1969 album, Tadpoles; the clip is a little earlier—taken from the kids' television programme "Do Not Adjust Your Set" (featuring an introduction by Terry Jones),—because it's delightfully unhinged. The original is in Cm, but I've transposed it to Am.
