@michal Lobbying was always a corrupt practice. I used to suggest Congress-critters should be required to wear jackets with the logos of all the corps which paid them. Lobbyists *write laws* which Congress passes.

What Trump has done is just naked corruption, but at scale. No one in our history has done this more openly or at such a scale as this. He had DOJ settle his suit against the IRS by handing him a slush fund. The papers say $1.7 Billion, but there is NO NUMBER in the agreement. Theft.
