This is my new, future account. While most interaction still happen on the bsd.cafe one, I aim to migrate fully here.

I am posting mostly culture, emacs, bsd and anti-ai based ramblings. I don't curse and I try not bait people into pointless anger rages.

I am a nerd (or dork? I don't know), a software engineer and I started to hate what technology has bacame.

This is a self-hosted, single-user instance running on snac2.

btw - I don't think I still believe in AI bubble bursting. The US government is the most openly corrupt government I've ever witnessed. As long as Trump doesn't find a way to personally earn on the downfall of those companies, it's not happening. Grok is a national security-grade provider, so well. Nothing will happen to them. Not that it won't explode, but somehow we will all keep it inflated.

Altman, Asmodei, Nadella, and (somehow) Benioff were at G7 summit.

@michal I think we're already in the "too big to fail" situation.
They'll continue to pump money, if needed, until it will be profitable. And if it won't be, the Government(s) will continue to pump the needed money: AI fall would mean an entire economic fall for many countries. It's unacceptable, for them.
