@michal I switched to fountain pens when I realized I was writing quick notes on a computer and printing it out. I couldn't do arithmetic in my head because there was always a calculator. I felt like I was distant from the real world.

So I figured fountain pens would always stain my fingers and occasionally leak into my shirt pocket. And that this would keep me connected to the real, messy world.

I bought a few, but ended up with a Sheaffer that has the inlaid nib. Looks cool.
